AK-Keramik Alfred Klein

4 WGP-Objects from the Fat-Lava era, 1960s-1980s. 1. Planter, Bay-Keramik Model number: 715/16 Material: Stoneware Height 16 cm, Diameter 17 - 13 cm Glaze: High gloss to Fat Lava Decor: The combination of the vivid red band glaze and the overlaying dark brown-white effect or run glaze is among the most sought-after collector designs from Bay Keramik during the Mid-Century era (late 1960s to early 1970s). The planter is in its original condition and perfectly represents the spirit of the time. Condition: mint 2. Planter, Scheurich, with original label Model number: 806-14 Material: Stoneware Height 14 cm, Diameter 14 cm Glaze: Silk matte to high gloss Design & glaze: The piece stands out with a striking bright red band at the top, on which a relief-like, thick dark foam glaze (Fat Lava) forms a wave or swirl pattern. Below this runs a horizontally striped area in white and brown tones. Condition: mint 3. Handle vase, AK-Keramik Alfred Klein, Ransbach-Baumbach/Westerwald Model number: 241 - 15 Material: White clay Height 15 cm, Diameter 4 - 9 cm Glaze: Silk gloss Decor: Unlike the often very colorful or wildly relief-carved Fat Lava glazes of this era, AK Keramik’s range here opts for a simple, timeless elegance with a flowing, reflective brown glaze that imitates the classic jug-like clay aesthetics. Condition: mint 4. Carafe vase, AK-Keramik Alfred Klein, Ransbach-Baumbach/Westerwald Model number: 140 - 20 Material: White clay Height 20 cm, Diameter 8 - 11 cm Glaze: Silk gloss Design: The manufactory was active from the 1930s through the 1980s. The typical combination of a smooth running glaze on the neck and the rough, foam-like dark band on a light background makes this model a fantastic representative of rustic Westerwald studio ceramics from the late 60s or 70s. Condition: mint Shipping is exclusively via DHL Deutsche Post. All information to the best of my knowledge. Please review the attached photos. Any defects are marked. Color deviations from photo to original may occur. Use and/or storage marks are possible due to the age. Irregularities in glaze and ceramic are typical for the product category and do not constitute a defect. For your information: If, despite careful packaging, your lot arrives damaged, have the transporter provide written confirmation of the transit damage and please take detailed photos. According to EU law for courier services, in the case of damaged international shipments, the recipient must report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receipt. Only after the recipient (you) has received a damage certificate can I, as the sender, claim compensation. Please refrain from bidding if you do not accept this. ATTENTION: DHL is significantly restricting parcel shipments from Germany to the USA due to new US customs regulations. For private customers, only packages to the USA will be shipped for now if declared as a gift and the content is valued at up to 100 USD (currently about 86 EUR). Shipping of gifts with a value over 100 USD or commercial goods is NOT possible via regular postal service due to the new US customs rules. Private and commercial shipments can instead use the costly DHL Express service. It is also to be expected that such shipments will be even more tightly controlled to prevent misuse of private gift shipments for the transport of commercial goods. Before you bid, please check the new import regulations of your country. If you still want to win a lot from me, please provide a 100% accurate address (please check in your Catawiki account) to ensure reliable delivery. If the package cannot be delivered properly, significant costs (postage, duties, and taxes) for the return shipment to me will be incurred. I will recover these costs if necessary.
