AIIROH - Linea Heart XXL Glitter - Sculpture bois

THE ARTIST Aiiroh is a French artist born in Narbonne in 1987. Coming from graffiti culture and street art, he developed from the early 2000s a body of work around stencils, collage and urban posters. His universe draws notably from Pop Art, New Pop Art and the poster artist movement, with references to artists such as Raymond Hains, Jacques Villeglé, François Dufrêne or Mimmo Rotella. Aiiroh distorts the codes of advertising, big brands and icons of popular culture in order to explore their influence on our collective imagination and our relationship to consumption. His compositions mix acrylic painting, aerosol, stencil, collage and mixed-media techniques, in a colorful, energetic visual language that is immediately recognizable. Present in numerous galleries in France and internationally, Aiiroh has seen his works exhibited and collected in Europe, the United States and Asia. He has also participated in various projects and collaborations with players in the luxury, gastronomy and contemporary art worlds. His work seeks above all to preserve the energy and spontaneity of the street while translating them into a contemporary, popular and decidedly optimistic aesthetic.
