A.R. Penck - hand-signed screen print - O.T. – Peace, ca. 1995 Introduction to the Object The present original color screen print “O.T. – Peace” was created around 1995 and stands as an exemplar of A.R. Penck’s characteristic symbolic visual language. With reduced forms, archetypal-looking signs, and an immediately impactful composition, Penck developed an independent visual language that moves between painting, graphics, and symbolic language.
