A pink chevron striped taffeta evening gown, with peplum collar and frilled organza detail to skirt base. The bodice is zipped at the back with a large bow. Originally worn with a peach taffeta full length slip, length of dress 146cm. Front under arm 44cm. Condition; there are a few faint marks on both items which may be removed with cleaning. The dress and petticoat have been carefully stored for 75 years. The matching taffeta petticoat could be worn today as a slip dress.
