A late 19th century French brass gorge cased carriage alarm clock by Drocourt, the eight day movement striking hours and half hours and repeating on a gong, the backplate with stamped maker's mark and numbered '7497', the white enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes above a subsidiary alarm dial, the gorge case with swing handle and bevelled glass panels, height 17.5cm, with red leather case and winding key.
