A LARGE REFORMED GOTHIC BOOKCASE, CIRCA 1880

REFORMED GOTHIC A LARGE BOOKCASE, CIRCA 1880 Pitch pine, brass handles, with carved crenelation detail to top 200cm high, 303cm wide, 54cm deep Condition Report: This is really solid and an impressive look/size. There are multiple marks, knocks, scratches commiserate with age and use, the marks and scratches are plentiful to the used surfaces, but only surface, with only a few deeper knock/marks. The grain is particular lovely at the side panels, there are a few missing decorative roundel tacks to each of the side panels (2-3 on each side). The piece dissembles into six pieces. There are new pine panel pieces to the interior (4) - where the sides meet the central piece, presumably this was later introduced for stability or to replaced damaged panels it is unknown. Please see additional images provided.
