A large Empire gilt, patinated bronze and Griotte marble mantel clock despicting Cleopatra, silver patinated dial with Roman nummerals, glass door with a snake border, the drum mounted within a patinated rock base upon which is reclining the figure of Cleopatra, the griotte marble plinth with anthemion base and animal feet. Paris, ca. 1815-20. H. 60 cm. W. 72 cm. D. 30 cm.
