全部拍賣 / Porcelain & Pottery / A Flower "Bambi" Ceramic Wall Planter.
(Modern Ceramic Products, 1950s) A ceramic wall planter featuring Flower from “Bambi.” A maker’s mark is incised into the underside of the foot “MCP Sydney No. 132.” From its inception, Disney closely guarded IP licenses. Modern Ceramic Productions, Mingay was chosen to produce pottery for Disney based on the evident quality of their creations; however, wartime materials rationing in Australia prevented them from beginning manufacture of "Bambi" pieces until World War II ended in 1946. Measuring approximately 6” x 6” and 4.25” deep, the piece is in very good condition with some light wear to the back of the ceramic where it attaches to the wall.
