A DIVISION ONE SILVERED ART NOUVEAU DESIGN BUTTON

1 Large early 20th century example representing 'Earth-Wind-Fire" From the collection of the late Don and Barb Lanier. This English Backmarked silver button with its incredible detail represents the elements of Earth, Wind & Fire on one button. The female figure on the right represents Fire, as she is holding the torch flame. The male figure on the left is representing Wind, as you can see he is blowing in the wind. The Earth representation is a little more subtle but the detail is so great in this hallmarked heavy silver button that if you look at the background of the figures you see mountains and architectural parts, trees and more which represent the Earth. An incredible and RARE silver button of the Art Nouveau period to find. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4".
