A DIVISION ONE EGYPTIAN PICTORIAL BUTTON

1 Large 19th century celluloid and brass example. Another example from the Lanier collection comes this finely designed Egyptian Revival button of the late 19th century. The molded head is made of early celluloid known as Ivoroid and is set into a highly ornate Gay 90 style brass mounting. Truly a magnificent example. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4".
