A COLLECTION OF LORD LIEUTENANT'S AND SIMILAR UNIFORM. A collection of uniform comprising a scarlet jacket with silver bullion cuffs, collars and rear vent with, the collar with gilt rose details, the buttons with a crown within a wreath. Approximately 46 cm across the shoulders, 77cm top to bottom. With a matching waistcoat and trousers with matching braid to the sides, a black patrol type jacket, waistcoat and trousers, a court outfit with velvet tailcoat with cut steel buttons, waistcoat and breeches. With a bicorn hat with matching acorn and oakleaf braid and white feather plume by Gandy and Sons of Bath, and a folding hat with cut steel decoration. With a 1945 dated army issue 'Shirt Jungle size 15 1/2 x 33, Cockrill & Rew, 1944' with Government issue arrow, converted into a shooting jacket with rear pocket and numerous patches including N.S.R.A. Annual member, Singapore Rifle Association, some dated 1956, 1957 and 1962. In a travelling trunk with brass name plate engraved possibly G. Wooman. The trunk 94 x 40 x 28 cm.
