A CHEST OF DRAWERS FOR IN-BETWEEN SPACES

Curved in shape, with a frame of oak and beech, and veneered with various woods. Inlaid decoration featuring butterfly wings set within recesses. It opens to reveal five drawers, including a secret drawer, arranged in three rows. Louis XV period. Gilded bronze fittings with rocaille decoration on the side panels, lock plates and pull handles. Moulded breccia marble top. Height: 80 cm – Width: 102 cm – Depth: 53 cm. (Missing parts, damage and extensive restoration)
