Discover this selection of three red wines from Domaine Stéphane Montez Les Hauts du Monteillet, an estate renowned for the expression and finesse of its terroirs. 1) Côte-Rôtie Les Bons Arrêts Monopole 2023 The vineyard is located in the Bons Arrêts area, in the heart of one of the most famous terroirs of Côte-Rôtie. Facing south-east and set on very steep slopes, it requires careful hand work, where every detail matters to get the best from the vines. Stéphane Montez is the only producer working on this rare and exceptional site. From this parcel comes a wine that is both intense and elegant, with beautiful fruit and the depth typical of great Côte-Rôtie wines. The grapes are hand-harvested, then fermented in tanks with gentle extraction to keep finesse, and aged in oak barrels to bring complexity, structure, and length.
