Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett Dr Loosen 2023 Dr. Loosen is renowned as one of the great German winemakers, and this dry Riesling is a perfect introduction to his work. The Erdener Treppchen Kabinett 2023 is deep and stony on the nose, fresh, highly aromatic with pineapple, ripe peach, aromatic herbs and spicy notes, resting on its red and blue slate terroir. Aging in oak and on the lees gives fullness to this wine and grants it great aging potential. On the palate it’s a rich and rounded Kabinett, but its saline, savoury and crisp finish is truly exciting. A perfect pairing for a sea bream ceviche, for example! Zeltinger Himmelreich Kabinett Markus Molitor 2023 The grapes come from vineyards planted on very steep slopes, on stony soils predominantly slate. It’s a very harmonious and balanced wine, a beautiful expression of the terroir. The grapes are harvested in late October. After a brief skin contact and gentle pressing, fermentation proceeds in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures on the fine lees for a long time to develop its magnificent bouquet fully. Residual sugar 27.2 g/l, acidity 9 g/l. Pale yellow in color. On the nose it presents a fascinating bouquet with aromas of yellow plums, pineapple, fresh mandarin notes and lemon zest.
