Organoleptic sheet according to senses Visual examination: Deep, intense ruby red with garnet reflections of great brightness. Olfactory examination: Explosive, complex and elegant. It opens with pronounced notes of cherry jam, prunes, dried sour cherry and dried plum, followed by refined hints of dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted coffee, tobacco and sweet spices. Gustatory examination: On the palate it is powerful, warm and balsamic. The structure is imposing but supported by velvety tannins and by an extraordinary mineral freshness that balances the alcohol content, giving an endless finish. Prolonged aging: Produced only in the best vintages from vineyards located in the municipality of Tregnago, the Pietro Dal Cero Amarone undergoes a long drying process of the grapes of over 4 months, followed by 24 months of aging in wooden casks and a subsequent long rest in bottle.
