The great Georges Mugneret Gibourg winery is in Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation of the Côte de Nuits, famous for its fragrant, deep, and ethereal red wines. This lot consists of 3 bottles of the Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes from the 2017 vintage, which aged this year in 9 French barrels with a 45% new oak proportion. It possesses a beautiful bouquet, pure and seductive, with precise aromas of macerated red cherries, blood orange, and a hint of blueberry. On the palate it is defined by its soft and fleshy tannins but with balanced acidity. It is simply superb wine with great aging potential, like this 2017, which can be enjoyed now or continued aging. The three bottles have always been stored in an underground climate-controlled cellar at 16°C and with 85% humidity.
