A 19th C. poplar dome top storage trunk, retaining its original sponge-painted surface in yellow and dark green on the body, with contrasting red border bands, the dome lid has a blue-grey ground beneath the sponging. A domed lid fitting over a straight-sided case, fitted with an iron center hasp lock on the front.12.5”H x 26”W x 13”D.
