Unique handmade Nature History miniature diorama in a glass dome. The whole consists of dried flowers and two mounted honeybees, one of which is placed on a solid 18-karat gold buttercup flower (15 grams). Around the hind legs of the bees are 18-karat gold "pollen grains" in the form of a bead. On the body are pure gold ''wild'' nuggets, originating from Australia. Together they pollinate the golden flower. - The dome is made of thin, finely blown glass; the base is wood. - The bees come from a beekeeper in the Netherlands. - The lighting that makes the whole sparkle in the dark runs on a battery. It is placed with a switch on the underside and neatly concealed in the base. - The dome can be hung or placed down - Size: 6.5 cm x 11 cm.
