Collection of Esther Shaver, Beaufort, SC Description: 1872 Framed Confederate Money Titled 'Lost Cause', titled at center with poem, including portraits of Lee, Davis, Jackson, Johnson and Beauregard, with eight Confederate bills including 100, 20, 5, 1, 2, 10, 50 and 500 from Richmond, Virginia, with Confederate crest and flag in color at center, with scrollwork and vignettes around border and in corners, matted and framed. Frame size: 29 1/2 in. x 35 1/4 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 20 in. x Width: 25 in. Condition: Overall good condition, creasing throughout and aging the paper, not viewed out of frame.
