1868 Indian Cent. Snow-PR1. Proof-65 RB Cameo (NGC).

1868 Indian Cent. Snow-PR1. Proof-65 RB Cameo (NGC). Lovely golden-brown iridescence blankets surfaces that readily reveal more vivid mint orange, antique gold, powder blue and pinkish-rose undertones as the coin rotates under direct lighting. Fully struck throughout with a few faint carbon spots in the lower right obverse field the only obvious impediments to an even higher Gem Proof grade. A shallow, circular depression on Liberty's neck is as made and in no way inhibits the exceptional eye appeal of this elegant cameo-finish specimen. NGC Census: 4; 5 finer in this category (Proof-66 RB Cameo finest). PCGS# 82293. NGC ID: 229L. Click here for certification details from NGC.
