1827 Capped Bust Dime. JR-6. Rarity-2. Pointed Top 1 in 10 C. AU-55

1827 Capped Bust Dime. JR-6. Rarity-2. Pointed Top 1 in 10 C. AU-55 PL (ANACS). OH. An unusual certified grade for a Capped Bust dime at the Choice AU level, but this piece certainly revels strong reflective qualities in the fields as the surfaces rotate into direct lighting. The design elements are softly frosted in texture and, while a few isolated features are a bit blunt, overall detail is bold. Vivid album toning in rich reddish-russet, cobalt blue, champagne-gold and pale pink rounds out an impressive list of attributes. Superior eye appeal for the type, date and die pairing at the assigned grade level, and worthy of strong bids, as such. Provenance: From the Emerald Coast Collection. PCGS# 38816. BASE PCGS# 4504. NGC ID: 2375.
