Botswana-banded agate cabochon with a small geode of quartz crystals inside, 14.1 carats. It is set on a branch of silver-toned metal and linked to a modern 925 silver cord chain. It features concentric banding in white, orange, reddish, and brown tones with a geode of transparent quartz crystals inside. These gems form when silica-rich water filters and slowly crystallizes into cavities in volcanic rocks, giving rise to these translucent and opaque bands in warm tones that look spectacular in the light. Traditionally they are used as protective amulets to keep the energetic field strong. In addition, they have properties of balance, harmony, and stability.
