Mid 19th century, stamped to movement with maker's seal ''Vincenti Cie / Medaille d'argent 1855'', further stamped ''8613 / 8.1'', the gilt circular dial relief-decorated with foliage, a baldachin and a portrait of Louis XIV and inset white enamel Roman numeral cartouches, under a glazed, hinged door within a shaped case, a figure of Father Time surmounting a pedestal atop a scroll pediment centering a mask, the sides decorated with musical trophies, on an acanthus-decorated rectangular base raised on fluted, acanthus-clad feet on a rouge royal marble plinth with gilt bronze banding; movement chimes on the hour and half, overall: 32.75'' H x 20.5'' W x 10'' D, est: $3000/5000\nProvenance: Estate, Huntington Beach, CA.
